COSTUME HIRE by Vintage Years est.1976 for professional and amateur costume hire. At Vintage Years we do not class ourselves as a fancy dress shop, we are costumiers - all of our outfits are of a professional quality and our highly trained staff will make sure you are dressed for the part.
Unlike some costumiers, we can adjust most costumes to fit and will work with you to provide exactly the character you require which normally includes all necessary accessories from headwear and wigs through to footwear.
We also cater for special requests for promotional work or other uses.
We have a strong interest in youth theatre and encourage schools and drama teachers to use our facilities.
We are well established in costuming complete or part productions for professional and amateur societies not only in the U.K.and Europe but places further afield such as Australia, the Middle and Far East and even the Falkland Islands and have an impressive list of past successes.
Please note that most of the photographs in our menus are donated by customers and are only a small selection of our stock.

We are closed to the public on Sundays Mondays and Thursdays
